Illness Guidelines
For all MOMS Club® Activities
Helping All Children Stay Healthy
FEVER
If your child has a fever over 100 degrees, please do not bring them to an activity. Please do not rejoin the group until your child is free of fever for 24 hours.
RASH
A rash can be the first sign of many childhood illnesses. A rash or "spots" may cover the body or appear only in one area. Do not bring a child with a rash to a club activity until cleared by a physician.
SORE THROAT
If your child was ill the evening before (vomiting, fever, sore throat, etc.) please keep him/her home to minimize the risk of spreading illnesses to others.
VOMITING/DIARRHEA
Please keep your child home until he/she can keep food and fluids down and is fever-free for 24 hours. A child with diarrhea should not be brought to a club activity for 24 hours after the last episode.
GREEN RUNNY NOSE
Please keep your child home if they have a green runny nose because this can be the sign of an illness coming on.
Also, your child should not come to MOMS Club® activities if he/she has a communicable disease such as measles, mumps, chicken pox, whooping cough, or scarlet fever. Please contact the MOMS Club® President if your child has contracted or come in contact with someone who has a communicable disease.
Thanks for helping us keep our children happy and healthy.
