Executive Board Sub Clubs & Committees

PRESIDENT: Presides over the monthly meetings, acts as liaison with other organizations and the community; acts as a liaison between the local MOMS Club® and the MOMS Club® Corporation.

ADMINISTRATIVE VICE-PRESIDENT: Assists the President in fulfilling her duties; assumes the duties of the President when she is not available; coordinates the service projects and speakers for the meetings.

MEMBERSHIP VICE-PRESIDENT: Promotes membership in the group; publicizes the MOMS Club® of Bend within the community, and coordinates such publicity with the President who is the Club's liaison within the community.

SECRETARY: Takes minutes of the monthly meetings, keeping those minutes in a notebook that can be viewed by all members; updates member roster and mails out information to the public and members as needed.

TREASURER: Responsible for all funds of the club; deposits all such funds in the name of the club in the bank; maintains financial records, keeping all records available to be reviewed by all MOMS Club® of Bend members; receives and disperses funds as directed by the Executive Board, and gives proper vouchers and receipts for any transactions; and prepares any financial reports as may be required by the Executive Board or the MOMS Club®organization.


The Executive Board cannot run the club alone. We have many Committee Leaders who help organize the special interest groups and other aspects of the MOMS Club® of Bend. These are volunteer positions.

PLAYGROUP COORDINATOR: Creates and oversees playgroup participation.

WEB-SITE COORDINATOR: Maintains and updates our chapter web-site as needed.

HISTORIAN COORDINATOR: Takes and/or coordinates pictures of events and creates our MOMS scrapbook.

CLEAN-UP CREW COORDINATOR: Helps to ensure that we leave our activities and meetings clean and orderly.

WELCOMING COORDINATOR: Meets and greets members and visitors at MOMS Club® activities.

NEWSLETTER EDITOR: Creates our monthly newsletter/calendar, editing articles as necessary.

KIDS KORNER: Watches over the children and assists in crafts during our monthly meetings.

HEART TO HEART COORDINATOR: Arranges help and meals for moms in need (i.e. birth of a child, illness or death in the family, or a spouse on military duty.)

ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR: Organizes and schedules monthly activities.

PARTY COORDINATOR: Organizes our four yearly parties.

COOKING CLUB: Meets monthly to eat and share a theme recipe.

WALKING CLUB: Get together each week to exercise with other moms. Let the kids ride along in their strollers while you get in shape!
